Yes. You can request up to five samples per order and we post them free anywhere in Australia. If you need more, just ask.
As a guide, add 10% for straight-laid tiles and 15% for diagonal, herringbone or patterned layouts. Handmade tiles and natural stone benefit from a little more, so you can choose the best pieces. Keep a box spare for future repairs.
Not usually. Floor tiles need the strength and slip resistance for foot traffic. Each product page lists where a tile can be used. If you’re unsure, send us an enquiry.
In Australia, tiles are rated for slip resistance (P ratings, from P0 to P5). Wet areas like showers and outdoor spaces need a higher rating than living areas. We list the rating on each product where it applies.
Handmade and natural tiles are made in small batches, so no two are identical. That variation is the character of the tile. We recommend mixing tiles from several boxes as you lay them so the variation spreads evenly.
